please tell me what does the error code c42 means in suzuki hayabusa 2006 . n how to resolve it

Not a vintage Honda question, but I did a search on the web and will direct you to

Seems like there are issues with the ignition switch contacts and/or a resistor in the circuit. The code is an anti-theft/security code, but apparently can be triggered by switch contacts or incorrect resistor values.
