Motorcycle Repair: 1974 Honda XL 350, honda xl 350, washer spring

Question
I'd like to rebuild the carburetor as it has not been run since 2009. The fuel just over flows and runs out the over flow tube right now.   Having nearly and impossible time finding a rebuild kit.
 Been searching for many hours getting frustrated...do you know where i could look or go to get the parts needed or do you have any  suggestions

Brian, Depending on the condition of your original parts, you may just be able to use carb cleaner to get the carb back into working condition again.

The Honda part number for the "packing kit" is 16010-356-004 which may still be available from Honda for about $30.

You will want to check your intake manifold for any signs of cracks or damage and replace the o-ring between the manifold and cylinder head.

Search for KH-0132 a Keyster kit, which seems to be out of stock with the distributor in Canada.

Looks like they have them at Retrobikes in WA.
