Motorcycle Repair: yamaha xt500 1981 kill switch, kill switch, blac

Hi Gary,
I am trying to wire up a kill switch for my xt. The previous owner removed all the wiring I know ther shouls be wo ite/black wires and a ground (blac) from the wiring diagram I have. Is this lack actuallu just the handkebar/frame ground, and are ther actuall 2 white/black wires as I only see the remains of one that is solderd on to the little board near the switch itself. Duncan,In some of the bikes I had installed a kill switch it has 2 wires. One wire can go to the coil on the power in wire. Another will need to go to a ground. As the switch is applied the voltage to the coil will go to the easiest path to ground and should shut the bike off.
