Motorcycle Repair: 2008 RMZ 450 flywheel, 2008 rmz 450, tucker rocky

Question
I was wondering where I can find a heavier flywheel for my 2008 rmz 450.

Answer
Carl, This may be a research kind of question. Its obvious that the short stroke and high rpm with a short piston makes these run a little like the two strokes kinda pipey. They dont like to lug at all. If you can get a flywheel off an enduro model the same size they are heavier to be more controlable for traction in the woods and so forth. Also the 2008 RMZ 450 LO model does have a different part number 32102-28H10 where the part number on you bike is 32102-28H00 but the cost is bad news, over $300.00. Check with a bike shop that uses "Parts Unlimited" or "Tucker Rocky" aftermarket parts, maybe "Moose" off road accessories offers something that might work for you.
