QuestionI have a 1980 honda cb650 custom and been having problems with the charging system... I had a freind test it and he said it was the regulater and i got one and it seemed good but now it still not charge... i check the battery with the meter and it show it gose up but not to 13 or anything like that ... do u think its the rotor or do u have any other ideas of what i can look at or do.... thank u for ur help and really hope u can help me .. nic talk soon
AnswerNic, if the stator plug connector is still okay, usually it is the rotor. VERY common, unfortunately.

You will have to buy a correct rotor puller tool to get the old ones off, though. Make sure that you are selecting parts for the SOHC chain-driven engine, not the DOHC shaft drive CB650SC.
