Motorcycle Repair: Mini 2-stroke, mini pocket rocket, quality springs

Question
Have a 2-stroke mini pocket-rocket. (Chinese) fully automatic
air cooled 43 cc.
Was running great, but now stuck in gear when started.
Also doesn't sound good.

Any suggestions how to trouble shoot?

John, I have some bad news you are probably not going to want to hear. The quality of these units is somewhat questionable. These units are disposable and dont last long. The clutch sticking is usually because the weighted grips inside the drum dont retract and let go due to improper alignment or poor quality springs.
