Motorcycle Repair: 2004 Road King Custom FLHRS, crank shaft position sensor, shaft position

Question
QUESTION: No spark. Put new coil on, nothing. New Crank Shaft position sensor, nothing. Tried replacing new module under seat with original one. Bike will start then die. Then won't start at all. Then might start. Sometimes it will not turn over at all or click when I push the start button. Am getting desperate.
Please.

ANSWER: Not turning over tells me you dont have enough power. If you dont have enough voltage the starter will just click. Charge the battery and then try it again and let me know.

QUESTION: Have done the charger. What else would cause these problems. I wondered if leaving either module (under the seat) in and unhooking the battery for a minute or so. Just like a car. If that would help. No-one I know knows for sure. I am going to try that tonight. If I start from the plugs and go back, it plug, wires, coil, wires, Then what?

Thanks

Answer
If you have charged the battery and it still clicks or barely turns over then you have either bad battery cables, bad ground or a bad battery. Check both ends of the cables to make sure they are clean and tight. If they are ok, then I would have the battery tested.
