Motorcycle Repair: Honda SL125 clutch actuator arm, honda sl125, motorcycle salvage

Question
Motorcycle Repair: Honda SL125 clutch actuator arm, honda sl125, motorcycle salvage
Clutch diagram
Hi, I have attached a scan of the clutch parts diagram for my Honda SL125. Part 8 on the diagram has bent and is snapping at the top. I have ordered a replacement part but not sure it will come in time as I need it in the next few days. I was wondering if you knew if any other bikes uses the same clutch lever as I may be able to find one sooner.

Thanks very much for the help,

John

Answer
Hi John,

The clutch lever you referred to is only used
on the Honda singles like the CB100, CL100, SL100
and the 125 engine models also.
Any of these engines from around the same year
will have the same part.

If you were willing to pay the shipping I am sure
some online parts store could send the part
on overnight fedex or such.

Sometimes you can find these levers at a motorcycle
salvage or even ebay at times.

Another alternative might be getting a welder
to patch up the old part and strengthen it.

I had an SL100 years ago and had alot of fun on it.
Good luck on your parts search.
