QUESTION: mike is there any way you would be able to tell me how to do the test and by power does that mean to find out if i have 12 volts going into the module thanks

Answer
Check to see if you have 12 volts to the modual and 12 volts at the red wire on the pickup, also make sure you have 12 volts at the coil. You have to have a special plug to do any other tests. If the modual or pickup does not have to the voltage then they are bad
