Bike has been sitting for a month starts but won't turn over.  Any suggestions???? Don't live near dealership.  Would like to do it myself.  Thanks in advance for your response.  Nita

Nita, do you mean that it turns over and won't start?

In most cases where a running bike has been stored with old gas in it, the fuel has degraded and is either separated or evaporated into non-burnable fuel solids.

Make sure the battery is fully charged, drain the fuel in the tank and the carburetor float bowl(s).

With fresh fuel and probably a fresh set of spark plugs, it should light off again. If not, then the carburetor(s) may need to come off and get the jets cleaned, especially the idle jets.
