I can't locate where the starter is could you help or tell me where to find a service maual. Thanks

Roxanne. The starter is on the front of the engine on the lower portion of the crankcase. It is usually bolted in the case with 2 bolts. Smoe even have an o-ring around the nose cone of the starter to seal out water and grime.Is the starter motor bad? These parts are expensive the starter part # 31200-MB0-405 is about $326.00. Make sure that if the starter is the problem test it first before you buy one as with most electrical parts they are not returnable. Some shops sell a Clymer manual for about $29.00 for this bike and it may help you with other problems.
