Motorcycle Repair: nighthawk stalling, gas additives, honda nighthawk

Question
I have a 1985 650 Honda Nighthawk that I recently took out of storage, stored for 3 yrs. I have changed the fluids, plugs, air filter and battery and am able to start and run as long as the choke is on. If I turn the throttle at all or turn the choke all the way off it dies instantly.
Is this possibly an issue of the 4 carbs unsynchronized? Any thoughts on where to begin to get it running properly?
Thanks

Answer
Well here goes. The carbs have plugged jets and need to be removed and cleaned. Due to the fuel contents and the carbs make up the brass jets a lot of the time turn green with the gas additives. Once the carbs are cleaned and installed on the bike they will need to be syncronized so that they all flow equally.Once cleaned and running make sure you have fresh gas in it and put in about 1/2 can of Lucas fuel injector cleaner. It works better than fuel conditioner as it breaks down the varnish and rust particles so they will go through the carb jets and be burnt up and this should smooth out the runability problem.
