Motorcycle Repair: no spark, test light, stator

riding my 750 magna it died and now no spark dont think the coils went bad what else do i kneed to look for

Most of the time the coils dont go bad. you may have a bad or shorted pick-up coil. Some come with the stator which get expensive to replace. The cdi can go bad and usually are a hard fail not an intermittant problem and are not easily tested.Check for power to all components involved with a test light to eliminate or isolate the problem area .
