My friend just bought this bike and I noticed the brake light is staying on. I would like to know more info on the two switches and how to service them Thanks.

Your light is probably staying on because of the front switch. When you look at the brake side, where the switches are, it consists of two parts for the controls. Both sections need to be tight against each other to hold the switch button in or it will stay on
