Answer
I answered a H-D question?????

Basically, you have to look at it just like a car. When the check engine light comes on, there is a trouble code stored in the computer. You have to retrieve the code and find out what the reference is about.

I found a detailed page here:

http://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-glide-models/139328-identify-trouble-codes-an...

about half way down the page is the revision of what appeared to be complete info towards the top of the page.....

Symptoms could be a bad Throttle Position Sensor (TP)... or O2 sensor. I trust that the O2 hasn't been removed due to an exhaust pipe change...  :>)

The guys mentioned above are obviously far better equipped to answer this question than I....

Good Luck with this problem.
