Motorcycle Repair: valve chatter, harley dealer, valve adjustment

I have a 05 softtail and the answer you gave the guy before me had answered my question as fare as adjusting the valve. scene they are hyd. lifters there is no adj. correct? I went to the Harley Dealer in my area and told him what I was hearing and he said: the valves may need adjusting. I am using a H D 20/50 synthetic oil and Genuine Formula plus for the primary and trans. By using the synthetic oil will that make a difference in the noise. Chatter. So two questions is there a valve adjustment?
and would the oil make a differance in the sound of the engine. Thanks Mike for your time

If you have stock pushrods then there is no adjustment. they are solid pushrods. You can install adjustable, but they dont come that way. If you have a ticking in your lifters that is common and it doesnt hurt anything. the only way to get rid of the noise it to replace the lifters.
