Motorcycle Repair: jack shaft seal replacement, shaft seal, seal replacement

I have had to replace the starter motor clutch and the sales guy recommended replacing the jack shaft seal in the process. even though it appears OK. Whats the procedure for replacing this seal?

You nedd to pull the seal out. If you dont have a seal puller then use a screwdriver and hammer and tap it out. The to install the new one use a socket that is just a hair smaller than the outer ring of the seal and drive it in
