Motorcycle Repair: bogging in 2004 cbr 600rr, 2004 cbr 600rr, tank air

Just recently after my bike ran just fine it now will bog down and lose some power at usually around 10000 rpms but sometimes 9 or 11000 rpms. Sometimes it does this other times it does. Lately its been a more happening thing than not. What do you think this could be? Thanks a lot.

At that high of an rpm, you way be getting valve float. That is where the valves are not completely closing between each cycle. They hang open and can cause a huge power loss. The tank, air box, and cam cover will have to pulled off to check that the shims in the valves are set right. Take it to a good shop that has the correct tools and shim kits. Thanks
