Motorcycle Repair: valve timing, factory service manuals, harley factory

ive looked everywere including my service manual but when installin the cam gears in my 67 ironhead 1000 do i bring to tdc or the 30 degree mark then line up the timing marks just need the starting point

I was wondering whether you have a general service book or an actual repair manual. The best HD manuals are the Harley factory service manuals. I will forewarn you they are cashy but well worth it. I will look in my books and see if I can find the into you need. I am assuming this an iron head sportster?
