Motorcycle Repair: s and s carb excessive oil leak, filter element, excessive oil

I have an s and s (g series) shorty carb on an s and s 113ci engine. i have an excessive amount of oil coming into the carb bowl and dripping. When removing the cover and letting it run it is obvious that I have found it however I do not know how to resolve the line into the carb goes from the bottom of the engine and runs into the front side of the carb. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That is the vent for the motor. There are 2 things you can do. One is clean the filter element often or you can remove the hose from the filter and run it downward, to the bottom of the motor. then it drip on the ground.
