Motorcycle Repair: honda400cb, rubber mounts, gas tank

Question
how many bolts hold on tha gas tank. I removed two from the end of the tank and its loose but does not come off

Answer
Normally the gas tank has locating rubber stops on the front.  When you have undone the fuel line, and undone the bolt (typically only one on the back end underneath the tank) then the tank will wiggle back and up out of the way.  If it hasn't been off for a while the rubber mounts may be a little stuck.
