QUESTION: it will shift if i force it not using the clutch. i pull the clutch when its in gear and it wont move, its like the clutch is not disengageing, shopuld i pull the primary cover to see whates up or what would you do?

Answer
It souunds more like a trans problem than a clutch problem. In order the check the trans you have to pull the clutch so I would start there and do an inspection on the clutch. If you find no problems then you need to pull the trans and check it
Good luck and happy riding
