QUESTION: Any ideas on how to replace the switch. They solder them in there.

Answer
To replace this switch you will need to split the handlebar control block where the affected switches are. Use a side cutter to snip the wires off of the on/off switch then remove the 2 screws holding the switch in place, remove and replace the old switch with a new one, reinstall the 2 screws then strip and resolder the wires back in place taking care not to over heat the switch stabs as this will remove the spring tension from the switches inner spring then put block back together insuring your new wire job doesn't short out against the handlebars as your tighting down the block attaching screws.
