Motorcycle Repair: My headlight on my 1994 honda cbr 600 dems when at idle, honda cbr 600, high beams

My headlight dims when at idle and gets brighter when i start riding then when i start to slow down it does it again. I got a new light bulb and it still does the same thing. Can you tell me what might be causing this problem so i can fix it and feel safer when riding at night.

Micheal,  Do a load test on the battery first, then do a charging system check.

The charging systems don't put out a full output at idle, anyway. Do not overtax the electrical system by running around with high beams or extra lights on, unless you are on the freeway.
