Motorcycle Repair: fork oil change, fork oil, rough spots

I have a 99 fatboy and the forks bottom out when i hit rough spots in the road i changed the fork oil by putting the bike on bike stand draining old oil i put plugs back in and refilled with new fork oil but still have the same problem and i have no leaks.Hope you can tell me what i'm doing wrong,thank you.

All for oil does is take the harshness out of the ride, it doesnt keep the forks from bottoming out. You might need to take the forks apart and inspect the springs in them. You might either have a bad one or a damaged one.
