Motorcycle Repair: removing forks, triple trees, calibers

What is the proper way to remove front forks from a 1994 Harley soft tail?

Answer
You have to remove the front wheel, fender and calibers. Once you have that done loosen or remove the pinch bolts that hold the forks to the triple trees. Remove the top caps and then the forks will slide out of the triple trees
