Motorcycle Repair: oil leak, oil leak, sportster

QUESTION: I have a 95 Sportster that is leaking oil from the front mounting stud. This is the one that is on the right side when you are facing the bike. looking at the front of the bike there is a bolt on the left side and a stud on the right.this is where it is leaking.

ANSWER: Are you refering to the motor mount at the bottom of the motor in the front? Or are you taking aobut the upper motor mount that attaches the head to the frame?

Since that is not a through bolt to anywhere you would not have oil coming out of it. You probably have a rocker box leak and its running down to the motor mount. Cleant he area really well and then run the bike and check for a leak and let me know
