Motorcycle Repair: 06 injected deuce, dyno time, necessary thanks

Question
I want to put santee laf drag pipes on my bike with torque cones and aftermarket air cleaner. Am I asking for trouble if I dont spend hundreds of dollars tuning the thing. What would be the consequences? I called my local HD service dept they wanted 1000.00 to dyno and tune. Is all of that necessary? Thanks for your input.

you need to tune the bike. What you are wanting to do will lean out the bike. Running lean makes it run hotter and you are taking a chance of burning a valve. If you run to hot you will burn the motor.
Shop around on the dyno time. You might find a aftermarket shop that can do it alot cheaper
