Motorcycle Repair: clutch to hard, dry clutch, wheo

QUESTION: I havent rode in a while......My clutch to hard to pull in makes my hand sore.......is there a way to lighten it up some? Also Im getting mixed answers on my tranny problem....I want a 5spd but I want to maintain the kicker....dont want to spell 3000 on a new one....can I reuse my old cases and buy a 5spd gear set?

Your calble probably dry and needs lubed. Try that and see if its easier to pull.
One the tranny, you would have to get a 5 speed case that fits your frame. I dont know of anyone wheo makes a 5 speed gear set that will fit in a 4 speed case
