QUESTION: cruise control comes on when first starting out on ride 3 or 4 min. maybe then cruise light on dash goes out and quits working.Cruise button on lower dash light up and stays on but seems to have been replaced.Just got bike today not sure what all buttons are for labels wore off. Left hand little up and down button appears to be stuck in up position can push down but goes back up . Guessing this is accelerate and decelerate button.Left side button under turn signal button has been replaced with toggle switch guessing volume control.Radio does not come on ,have not tried the intercom or CB yet,will check in morning.Thanks a lot for any help you can give me, Erik.

ANSWER: It sounds like, first you will have to replace the buttons on the handlebars that dont work. Then see if the cruise works. If not, then you will have to check to see if it has power going to it. If it does then the cruise control is probably bad and needs replaced.
Same thing with the radio. You need to check to see if you have power going to it. If you do and it doesnt work then it probably needs to be removed and have it looked at by a radio repair service or replaced

QUESTION: where is the best place to check for power to the radio and best way  to remove radio

ANSWER: To see if you have power to the radio you have to remove the outer fairing and windshield. If you want to remove the radio you have to do the same thing

QUESTION: Mike what kind of oils and filters do recomend.The bike come with 3 QTS. 20-50 drag specialties oil, 1 QT. Castrol MTX syn 80 wt. About 23 OZS. of drag spec. primary oil, and a drag spec. oil filter # 0712-0009. What do you think of these products. Would like to change all the fluids before ride this weekend. Can't find manual yet. 94 ultra classic primary oil change I think I got under control youtube video new mag. plug every time you change and gasket on inspection plate and about 1 QT. engine also new O-ring on plug not sure of capacities on engine, tranny not sure of procedure can't find any videos on it yet. Thank's again for all your help I really appreciate it.You can probably tell my first Harley.Hate to sound dumb I am good car and OK big truck mech. just don't won't to make a expensive mistake by rushing in.

I cant comment ont he oils you are refering to since I have never used them. Fluids are a personnel preference. What one person likes another can hate it. Stick with a good quality SAE oil and you will do fine.
On the tranny, drain the oil from underneith the trans. With the bike sitting upright fill it to the mark on the dipstick. Dipstick is located on the trans on the right side of the bike.
When you fill the motor oil, its about 3.5 quarts, check it on the dipstick with the bike sitting upright
