Motorcycle Repair: 1982 cm250...again, clutch cable, bill silver

Question
I feel like a complete idiot and your probably thinking the same thing about me but im STILL having issues with the clutch. I purchased a new clutch cable because the old one was toast and put it on. THE SAME THING HAPPNED. The cable has plenty of slack and the clutch still refuses to grab. I am thinking about giving up on this old thing and getting a crf450 motor when the $ shows up.

Answer
Erik, If the clutch is not engaging, either the clutch adjuster (/) on the side of the case is out of adjustment or the "judder spring" and seat were not installed properly, there isn't too much else to prevent the clutch from engaging that I can think of.
