Follow up question: Does a motorcycle fuel tank need air vent

Answer
You never told me the year and model so i can only be general. You tank has to be vented or the fuel will not flow. If you part the bike in the hot sun a couple of things can happen. The fuel can vaperize makeing it tough to keep running until you get cold fuel to the carbs. The other is if the bike has been running and then parked, if the fuel line is laying against the cylinder, the gas in it can vaporize as well
Good luck and happy riding
