How do I put a wide glide front end on my 77 sporster. I think I need a coupler? The other is on the swing arm, can I find a swingarm to fit the 77 that will allow a wide tire , a 200 or even a 180 without a lot of bucks seems as if no one knows where to go to locate the stuff needed for the changes , not much market I guess.fred

I dont know of any swing arm that you can put on your bike to install a wider tire. You may have to do a search in the net to see if you can find one. You bike is so old that there are not many custom parts made for it anymore. Same ting with the wide glide front end. All you would need is a triple tree that will fit a 77 frame. You dont need any kind of coupler.
You might be better off to find a frame, with swing arm that will take a newer triple tree and wide swing arm.
