Motorcycle Repair: Reserve gas tank, reserve tank, center of gravity

I have a 1984 Magna 700c (Maybe not so different than the Nighthawk you are most knowledgeable about?)

I just read the original 1984 magazine ad for the Magna. It describes the following: "And there's a second fuel tank under the seat that increases your cruising range while helping lower the center of gravity."

Do you know any more about this? I'm not aware of an additional tank on my bike. Is my primary tank directly connected to it?

Sorry, but I don't know enough about the 84 Magna 700 to answer this correctly.
To my knowledge, most bikes do not have a separate reserve tank. However, it is possible that your Magna does have one. The only way to know for sure, would be to remove your gas tank and have a look.
