Motorcycle Repair: 1982 CB450SC Nighthawk, throttle grip, carbs

I recently snapped the throttlw cable off of my 1982 CB450SC Nighthawk and I ordered a part and I got it in perfect condition. I was wondering how to remove and replace this part correctly. Thanks

Easiest is typically to undo the screws on the throttle grip housing, remove the cable from the top and then undo the cable at the carb end.  It may be tricky to unclip, perhaps easier to do this with the carbs off.  Anyway put the new cable on at the carbs, and then re-attach at the grip.  Good luck,
