Motorcycle Repair: 2007 roadking police bike, head bolt, fork oil

i am going to change lower legs and have never done this before and i have no books i do a lot of mecanic work on my heavy equipment but have only done general stuff on my harleys thanks bob

I am going to suggest that you purchace a service manual if you are planning on working on your own bike. Its a wealth of information.
You need to start by jacking up the bike and draining the fork oil. Remove the top caps. Remove the fender and caliber. On the bottom of the lower froks there is a allen head bolt. Remove it and the lower will slide off. It might be tight, but it will slide off.
