Motorcycle Repair: Front brake sticking, suzuki 750 gsx, calipers

Question
Just took my Suzuki 750 gsx in for it's M.O.T and the front brakes were sticking, is there anything I could spray on them to free them up Mark.

Answer
Typically if the brakes are sticking that means that they have been sitting for too long.  Usually corrosion builds up behind the seals and bind on the pistons, causing them to stick.  the easiest way to get them working properly is to overhaul the calipers, by extracting the pistons, taking out the seals, cleaning all the oxidation out of the grooves and rebuilding them.  Also ensure the pistons integrity make sure ther eis no rust on the sealing surface.

Good luck,  Jan
