Motorcycle Repair: no spark, modual, flt

Question
QUESTION: I have no spark on my 94 flt could the Voes switch or the wires going to it shut down the ignition. I have replaced ignition module and the CMP, and the coil and the coil wires test good.
Do have a ground problem or a voes thats bad. This problem started about 7 weeks ago i would drive 3 miles then it would shut off (no spark), some times i would drive over 100 miles then it would shut off(no spark). Now it will not start at all. The CMP (hall effects switch) looked like it got hot, so i replaced it. then i tested the coil the ohms are good and there is power going to the coil. so I replaced the ignition module. now i don't know if I should look for wires that could be broke or replace the voes switch.

ANSWER: Let me make sure we are using the same terms. The CMP you are refering to, is it the pickup located in the cam cover?

QUESTION: Yes... it looks like a hall effects switch, under the cam cover

Answer
Since you have replaced the above parts and its still doing it then you either have a bad breaker or a short in the wiring. You didnt say anything about losing lights, so I would suppect the ignition system. I would go for a ride and when it stops check on both sides of the breaker to see if you have power. Also, check the connection for the pickup to see if it has power. Then check to see if the ignition modual has power
Good luck and happy riding
