Question
Hey, its me again i decided to change out clutch plates on my 1982cm250 and i hit a road block. I took the right side cover off alond mith the springs and behind that theres this weird looking nut that i cant get off do you need a impact with a special socket for this or what?

Answer
Erik.... I don't see that feature here:

But I have seen it used on other models of larger bikes. If that is the case, you need to rig up a clutch holder for the hub and then use a big socket and breaker bar or impact driver to get it loose. If you don't hold the inner hub, it just spins.  Check behind the nut to see if it has a locking tab or if it is staked to the shaft in some manner.
