Motorcycle Repair: 1968 Honda CT90, flywheel alignment, vital fuel

Question
I have a Honda CT90 that was jetted and tuned before the past winter. It sat through the latter part of winter (yeah I know, I told my wife to ride it or start it at least every other week and she didn't), and now won't start. I have charged the battery, changed out the fuel, checked fuel lines, seem to be getting spark, checked the points, etc. Any thoughts on where best to focus my attention? I'm guessing maybe the carbs are gummed up.

Answer
Howard, the idle jet plugged up from sitting with old fuel in the float bowl.  Next time, either drain the float bowl, the fuel tank and/or add stabilizer to the fuel when it is going to be parked for awhile.

Remember that it is a battery-operated ignition system, so you need to have all of those 6volts present to the coil.

Do check the points to be sure that no corrosion has built up on the contact faces and that the points are opening at the F mark flywheel alignment marks. The idle jet is only #35, which is about .012", so it doesn't take much to clog up the vital fuel hole passageway.
