QUESTION: 2009 heritage

Answer
First, loosen the cable so there is slack in it. Now slowly turn the asjuster screw inward until you feel it bottom out, then outward about 1/8 of a turn. Then adjust he cabloe so there is about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever. If the screw keeps going in, then you will have to pull the cover for the clutch and inspect the lever inside for damage as well as the clutch rod.
Good luck and happy riding
