gapping for spark plugs and i lost the carb and need spec. to find another. This bike hasn't run for over 28 years so I need lots of help  THANKS

is it true that you can use chevy points for your tune-up if so wha t year

 Gap for the plugs is 020 to 025

  carb is a 926 .  170 main if single carb...140 mains if twin carbs. check ebay for a good used one...if you strike out then contact me . I should have a few used ones in stock

 54419827 is the part number for contact assembly. 2 sets required(in stock)
 

 Im not sure if chevy points work or not, I have always used the factory points or converted to electronic ignition.

 If the bike has set for an extended period of time , I would recommend that you disassemble it and look it over closely...the sludge trap in the crank will collect debris (as it should)and after the motor sets , this debris will dry out...when you fire it up , the debris dislodges and pumps through the motor making a big expensive mess for you.  These motors are great little power houses, that are very reliable, so it pays to take your time and make it the best you can.
