Motorcycle Repair: honda frame paint color, honda atc, lacquer paint

I have an 86 honda atc 250r that I am restoring and am trying to find the correct color for the frame. All the local honda dealer could tell me is that the red plastic trim color was called scarlet red. the frame is red also, but has an orange tint to it.I was hoping you may have some insight on the color name and or paint code.

Adrian.... Scarlet Red it is.... Classic red color used on bikes all the way back to the 1960s.

Take a sample to your auto paint store for matching.  Also try either PPG 71650 Red or look for "Pepsi Cola Red" colors
