Motorcycle Repair: Only one cylinder firing on idle, screw caps, suzuki intruder

Question
I have a 1988 Suzuki Intruder 1400cc.  When I start the bike, it is only running on one cylinder.  The front cylinder does not fire when bike is idling.  Once up to speed the cylinder will kick in.  I have checked the carbs and everything seems to be fine.  What else can I check to solve this problem?

Thanks

Answer
Paul... what does "checked the carbs" mean in terms of removal and cleaning? Most likely the idle jet is plugged up on the front cylinder.

If you do take the carbs off, remove the idle mixture screw caps/plugs, so you can make some fine adjustments to the idle mixtures once the jets are all clean.
