QUESTION: stock bendix, the only question about this is what is the static adjustment for speed and idle screws

Answer
you should set the air/fuel mixture screw at about 1 1/2 turns. I idle screw can be set until the bike is running. Make sure your pushrods are not to tight or you will have trouble starting it. When trying to start the bike, put your hand over the carb and turn it over. Let your hand be sucked to the carb, just for a second. they retry to start and let me know what happens
