how much oil do i put in my honda 1980 cb750k ? do you check oil dipstick level with dipstick screwed in or loose.75ugt

Looks like about 3.7 quarts of motorcycle grade oil after an oil and filter change.

You always check the oil with the bike on the centerstand, so it is standing straight up and then just dipping the stick into the filler hole, NOT screwed into the hole.
