Motorcycle Repair: SS125A & CL125A production numbers, honda products, ahmc

Do you know of, or where to find, total production number and USA import number for the 1967-1969 Honda SS125A's and CL125A's? A yahoo group for these motorcycles has VIN's going as high as 20000 for SS125A and 17000 for the CL125A.

Dan, about 10 years ago I had a contact within AHMC who was able to access sales figures for some of the 1960s bikes for me, but I never asked about the 125As and he has since left the company.

I have never owned either version of the 125A series bikes, so really haven' t put a lot of focus into their history or production numbers. Looking at the microfiche illustrations at CMSNL.com all the panels seem to have no parts substitutions/updates, which is pretty unusual for most Honda products.
