Motorcycle Repair: tail light, 1980 honda cm400, cbx

real simple...
my tail light is working but the all the other lights including rear brake light is operational i have switched out the bulbs but still doesnt work, my bike is a 1980 honda cm400 but i was just hoping u would know something about it. If u have any knowledge on this or maybe a link to a website that does i would really appreciate it, ty

I am assuming your normal tail light is NOT working otherwise your question makes no sense.  Anyway, since the brak light works, the ground should be OK so look for a broken or disconnected cable which is supposed to have 12V on it when the rear light is supposed to be on.  If it is like the CBX then it is supposed to be on all the time, and the problem COULD be the ignition switch.
