Motorcycle Repair: Head Gasket, blown head gasket, head gasket leak

I have a 2006 FXDBI. I'm getting black oil like stuff on my heads about half way down. Would this be a head gasket leak? I do not hear anything when the bike is running but if i wipe the black off it will reappear after a few miles of riding. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

what you need to do is clean it off and then let the bike idle so you can find the problem. If you have a blown head gasket you can usually run your hand around the head and feel it or hear is. It is probably a rocker box gasket
