Motorcycle Repair: !998 Road King speratic starting, senser, fuel injection

Hi Mike, I have 1998 Road King with fuel injection.  Sometimes I can't pull my finger off the start button fast enough and other times I crank till the battery goes dead.  If it's going to start, it will start with in a couple rotations otherwise I know it having one of its tantrums.  I pulled the air clean off and shot gas and found during one of tantrums it fires when gas is manually added.  So I am suspecting something with the fuel injection is going on.  I have know idea what though, any thoughts.

It sounds like when you are trying to start it that the fuel injectors are not opening up enough or the motor temp senser is not working all the time.
Your best bet it to get a dianostic run on the bike. If you dont, you will be changing parts until you hit the right one
